Our speaker, Julie Mazzoleni will introduce us to the fascinating world of the honeybee and learn about the different casts in the hive, individual roles and why they are considered a “superorganism”. Julie will also teach us about some of the many native bees we see in Wisconsin gardens. You’ll learn who they are, about their habitats and the critical role they play in a healthy thriving ecosystem. Lastly, Julie will address the challenges pollinators are facing, why they’re at risk and what you can do to support their wellbeing and help them thrive.
