Nature Teaching Strategies for All Ages

Course fee: $72 (Wild Ones members & students get 15% off) Optional Project WILD Certification: Add $50 (includes Project WILD book)
Description: Nature activities are one of the best ways to promote mental, physical, and emotional health. This course will unlock the secrets of nature through discussions and fun activities that meet NGSS standards. Whether you’re a formal or nonformal teacher, or just a nature lover, this course has something for everyone. Plus, if you’re feeling extra wild, you can get Project WILD certified and receive a book with over 100 activities! You must register by March 31st for Project WILD Certification.

You do not need to be a Wild Ones member to take this course.

About the instructor:
Dr. Shannon Davis-Foust has over 20 years teaching experience in biology, environmental science, and education courses. In 2014, she developed the "Nature Connection Program" in which college students work with elementary students in the outdoor classroom to learn about nature together.
